All main routes are easily connected by local buses to Uxbridge Underground trains station nearby for London and High Wycombe by buses / trains.  The nearest airport is London Heathrow linking by local buses and road transport via M25 motorway.

In Gerrard's Cross town center there are shops, Restaurants, Bars, Coffee shops, Boots, Post office, Banks, Cinemas as well charity shops and hotels. The main supermarkets are Tesco store and Waitrose as well local butchers in the town center. The shopping centers nearby are in Uxbridge, Slough and High Wycombe well connected by road transport buses and trains. 

There are schools, library, GX Memorial Centre as well east and west common playing fields and woods. There are plenty of exercise area and woodland walks in and around Gerrard's Cross.
